My dad has prostate cancer with bone mets. His chemo has stopped responding. I’ m wondering what to expect from now on.
It is common practice to move to chemotherapy after Lupron or an equivalent drug has failed. Some oncologists also use Casodex. This leaves second line hormonal therapy with drugs like ketoconazole, estradiol and Leukine. If he has not had any second line hormonal therapy, then this should be discussed.
