Viagra Speeded Up Recovery of Natural Erectile Function in Men Who Had Nerve Sparing RP

/, Postings, Sexuality and Intimacy/Viagra Speeded Up Recovery of Natural Erectile Function in Men Who Had Nerve Sparing RP

Summary: A new study reported in UroToday found that giving a low nightly dose of Viagra to men who had had nerve sparing radical prostatectomies (NSRP) speeded up the recovery of their natural erectile function. If you’ve had RP, always bring up the issue of early penile rehabilitation with your surgeon. Sexual rehab should start at around 2 months. If you haven’t recovered erectile function by then, try to see an ED specialist. See my posting, “How to Find A Good ED Doctor.”

I had radiation treatment a year ago. What effect will Viagra have on my PSA level, that is the return of the prostate cancer?

    Louie,

The viagra should have no effect that I know of on your PSA level.
