The Early/Expanded Access Committee has informed me that four additional sites have been added to the trial so there are now 23 States that have an expanded access trial of MDV3100 available to men with advanced prostate cancer. The trial is designed to monitor the safety of the drug in men with progressive castration-resistant advanced prostate cancer previously treated with Docetaxel based chemotherapy.

The new sites are located in Abington Pennsylvania, Santa Rosa California, Portland Oregon and Washington DC.

This trial will provide men with advanced prostate cancer who qualify access to MDV3100 prior to a final approval decision from the FDA. In this trial there will NOT be any placebo as well as no cost for the MDV3100/ enzalutamide (check with trial site for any other costs).

* Enrollment Tip – ?It often takes a few weeks to complete the enrollment and screening process for an expanded access trial. You may be able to speed up this process
by supplying the clinical trial nurse with your own medical records, which may relieve him/her from trying to obtain them from another clinic. Factor all of this into your decisions. As always, discuss with your physician(s) the pros and cons of your participating in this or any other clinical trial.
