Darryl Mitteldorf, LCSW
Mr. Mitteldorf is an oncology social worker and the founder of Malecare. He is know for his three decades of tireless work in support of underserved communities through the United States. He is lead inventor on three patents for novel diagoonistic methods and has nearly 100, research, book chapters, and journal articles published, has spoken at numerous professional conferences and has personally led over 2200 prostate cancer support group meetings since 1997. He is the pioneering scholar of the study of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender psycho-oncology. Mr. Mitteldorf founded the worlds first nonprofit organization focused on LGBTQ+ advocacy and survivorship, the National LGBT Cancer Project. Mr. Mitteldorf has sat on the Board of Directors and Advisory Board of many leading patient advocacy national nonprofits.
