Symposia on Men’s Health
Men’s Health Network (MHN) is undertaking a series of state symposia on men’s health around the country. MHN is presenting these symposia as an effort to educate health professionals and the public-at-large about significant men’s health issues.
The symposia will create awareness of such issues with the state policy leaders, elected officials, and healthcare leaders as they deal with the reality of rising healthcare costs. These state symposia will create opportunities for additional networking for men’s groups throughout the state, as well as encourage preventative health measures and physician & patient dialogue.
Among those invited to participate will be: local, regional, and state public health department officials, key legislators, advocacy groups, medical associations, patient advocacy organizations, churches/parishes, community health leaders, and healthcare providers.
