…To all the “bad girls” out there, which is what my Devil just called his mother. Who else would put up with this type of thing other than a great mother, and on Mother’s Day no less? You all deserve your due today and everyday.
And a special Happy Mother’s Day to my mom who, despite her “stuff,” has always been there for her boys even when she thought she wasn’t strong enough to be.Â
We all have “miles to go before we sleep,” and it’s the mother’s that make sure we rest easy until then.
Happiest of Mother’s Day to Devil’s mama. Thanks for the well wishes on my site 🙂
I am blessed in that I had the chance to be a child, a teen, a young adult and now a MOM…it allows me to see motherhood as a blessing, versus those who see motherhood as a chore. Kids know when you haven’t embraced the blessing that God has bestowed upon you.
And A Great Thanks to my own mother who tried, despite fighting a mental illness!
Definitely a worthwhile holiday.
Clare called her Mom “the worst mom ever” last night because she vetoed something Clare wanted to wear for dress down day at school today. I had a talk with Clare and made her apologize–they both ended up in tears.
