Well, my first week with the True Black Dad site up is over. I think it was pretty successful (not that I have any way to gauge blogging success). But I did get three comments and that’s not too bad – special thanks to Tamyca, Cobb, and William for the encouraging words. And I would also like to thank Duane from BlackInformant.com for letting his people know that I exist. I have a newfound respect for all the work that the devoted bloggers of the world put into thier sites. Passion is obviously a great motivator.
Over the last week I had an “Ah-Ha” moment, kept my kid safe during play, laughed at a new black family on TV, wished everyone would stop whistling “Dixie,” watched a poor excuse for a radio DJ and human being get fired (and later arrested), crashed the site, saved it, and showed a little love to all the baby mamas. I would say that the week has been relatively eventful.  I’m going to try my best to keep the ball rolling.     Â
