Yes, my boy strikes again.  I wrote a post a month or so ago where I told the story of how my budding fiction writer likes to, well, tell stories.  He’s at it again.  A few days ago I found out that my son has started another rumor about me.  This time, after telling all his teachers, he went straight to the top and told his pre-school administrator that “my father called me stupid ass.”  It’s actually quite mortifying.  The administrator then went and told my mother (I know that sounds funny, someone actually told my mommy on me), who works there what was said.  Of course my mother defended me (good ol’ mom), however I can’t help but to think about all the other wrongly accused parents out there that don’t have someoone to vouch for them in such situations.  For some strange reason people immiediately believe a three year old.  It’s a given that many small children tell the truth, and that many others fib.  I think it’s logical to investigate a claim made by a small child, and the same logic should make the person investigating an accusation hesitant to jump to conclusions…  Especially when it involves me!
