I am writing this as I am sitting on an airplane traveling from Palm Beach Florida back to New York City in the accompany of my two sons. The oldest handed me an article from the current Harpers Magazine to read. I thought I would share it a part of it with you.

According to Harpers, during the Bush administration, the number of times that FDA officials met with patient and advocacy groups to discuss revising their drug review policy was only a total of 5 times. During the same period they met with representatives of industry groups 113 times!

Who do you think has the influence at the FDA, not the people, not us.
