Hi,
I’m an Aussie Stage 4 Pca survivor at the start of my second IADT round, following PSA recurrence after a 2003 margin-negative RP (PSA 5.6, GS 4+3). A PET/CT scan eventually found a string of lymph node metastases in the lower chest, abdomen & pelvis (but no bone problems). I’m presently trying to qualify for the Phase 3 abiraterone trial.

I’ve read Dr Myers and Dr Strum’s books (both of which are excellent), and I follow the postings on P2P, CHB and Advanced Prostate Cancer, as well as clinical and research abstracts.

I’m looking forward to meeting Dr Myers at a forthcoming presentation on advanced PCa in Melbourne in February 2010.
