Not to long ago I just wanted to live to be 100 years old.
Now I just want to live.
If I live into my 70’s I will have been given a huge gift.
Currently I am 56, a mere baby in the world of advanced prostate cancer.
I have developed a list of things I want to do before I die.
Having recurrent prostate cancer has made me aware that I had better stop wasting time and get
busy living.
I may live long enough to make it into my 70’s, maybe even to 100.
But, maybe only to my 60’s.
I just can’t afford to wait around to find out.

You are a person of courage. I applaud you. You get working on that list and enjoy every minute of it. Keep the faith; it will sustain you.
All the best, always.
Thank you for putting together this website. I too am a 56 yr old, PC survivor. Dx 12-04, RP 1-05, Gleason 4,5, N0, SV+, possible capsule penetration (Epstein), treated post-op with Lupron, taxotare/emcyt, radiation and various dietary/supplemental regimes. PSA post op has remained undetectable, except 1 reading 3/07, but with a Gleason 9, a positve attitude is a bit irrational.
My husband just stopped the Lipton shots and casodex ruined him but kept him alive will see what happens
