On October 27, 2015, Malecare was issued patent 9,168,002 for a device and method for real time simultaneous measurement of radiation at specific parts of your body,. Understanding cumulative radiation exposure in people undergoing ionizing radiation for diagnostics and medical treatment is essential towards reducing secondary tumors from primary radiation therapy.   We believe that the Malecare device will be universally accepted at all radiation treatment facilities, worldwide and will likely save many thousands of lives every year.

Lead by Darryl Mitteldorf, our invention took over four years to develop, with hundreds of thousands of dollars of pro bono work from our researchers, engineers and legal teams.  Malecare has demonstrated a new kind of model for practical and economically viable life science innovation, which we offer to our counterparts for emulation.
