This will be the third holiday season that I send my Holiday Podcast out into the universe. It’s the same one I had up last year, but it always expresses what I kind of want to say at this time of the year. The only thing I want to add is that I am so glad my cousin is around to see this season. A few months ago I posted about a terrible accident that he was in and the situation was looking bleak.

Now, to the surprise of many medical professionals, he is in recovery and the prognosis is pretty good. He’s still in the hospital, but he’s getting better and better with the passing of each day. In fact his mother threw a party for his 18th birthday last week and the family came out with gifts in their arms and love in their hearts. He was thrilled to see us all.

I also wanted to mention his stepfather Derrick who has been a godsend through this whole ordeal. He loves that boy and he shows it through word and deed. Anyone would be proud to call him dad. ‘Tis the season to be thankful.
