There’s a couple of things that I’ve been meaning to mention over the last few weeks. As they say, though, there aren’t enough hours in the day. But since Dev is with great-grandma tonight I’ll throw out a few things before I relax for the evening:

1. The good people (no, I don’t really know them but I know their cause and I support it) over at The National Fatherhood Initiative are challenging us dads to tell them what fatherhood means to us. It’s a competition, so all you Superdads out there can compete against one another for bragging rights. And there are some pretty decent high-tech prizes for the winners. Spreading the word about responsible fatherhood is always a good thing. Showing people what it is is even better. Get involved – inspire other dads.

2. Here’s another clip for the upcoming Being Dad: USA documentary. I’m in it talking about MONEY. If you know me you know it’s one of my least favorite topics (because I don’t have any), though somehow I’m always talking about it. Most of the dads in the clip agree that finance is a big deal.

You look different than what I would’ve imagined. Great job talking about money – lol…very articulate. Wanna be my dad?

This was really interesting to watch. Also…did you go to Tech? You look familiar.

Money, man, don’t even get me started.

I’m in your “don’t have it” boat, and it is sinking.

    Nice blog.

And good job talking about money. That’s the “don’t get me started topic” for me also.

My relative lack of it drives me crazy. But I still have done well as dad who became one reluctantly.
