Survivors are Malecare’s heart and soul. If you and we didn’t have cancer, Malecare wouldn’t exist. We want to be sure we’re providing the most actionable information and helpful services to men in treatment and the rest of our survivor community.
The Patient Action Leader Council is our new way to hear your voice. Membership is open to all diagnosed men, their family members and friends. The Council developed from a series of three teleconferences Malecare held in late 2014.
The Patient Action Leader Council meets three times a year via ninety minute teleconferences to discuss your suggestions about advocacy, engagement and creating meaningful change. Board members will participate in at least one call per year and will be encouraged to email their thoughts between meetings.
This is the place for positive ideas or constructive complaints about the way our prostate cancer community works, or, fails to work, on your behalf.
